Maintain communication with suppliers when incidents are detected in materials or analytical results. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** Participate in on-site audits, such as FSSC 22000 and those applicable under current regulations; serve as part of the audit team and present information during audits. Manage the departmental budget, including PO issuance, monthly budget facing, purchase order preparation, and management of material entry reports required by the laboratory, as well as tracking supplier invoice payments. Support suppliers during technical visits as part of incident follow-up. Validate incidents related to physicochemical analyses and packaging aspects. Provide technical support to quality analysts for laboratory testing activities, including dimensional evaluations, thickness, height, coefficient of friction, color, and artwork assessments; physicochemical analyses such as moisture, water activity, fats, pH, acidity indices, peroxide value, particle size distribution, consistency, Brix degrees, and viscosity; and sensory analyses regarding odor, color, texture, and taste of site-used raw materials — such as fragrances, flavors, and purées. Incident management and validation on the Veeva platform: review and validate incidents; assess and validate incidents related to transportation, quality, expiry dates, handling, and packaging presentation; notify relevant departments and suppliers; send corresponding emails; generate incidents on the VEEVA platform; follow up with responsible departments and suppliers; coordinate follow-up meetings; host supplier visits; respond to and support involved internal departments; close incidents; notify closure via email; ensure correct incident closure within the VEEVA platform. Track expired materials in coordination with warehouse and Planning department leads; conduct biweekly warehouse visits to perform quality inspections of packaging materials and raw materials (Central Warehouse and Navisco Warehouse). Provide technical support to the warehouse department, including staff training, development and updating of OPLs, incident tracking and closure, and addressing specific warehouse department requests. Verify documentation updates for OPLs, procedures, and analytical methodologies. Ensure compliance with FSSC guidelines and the Food Safety Management System within the area of responsibility. It is the leaders’ responsibility to identify risks present in their areas, prioritize them appropriately, and establish necessary controls and defenses for mitigation. They must ensure timely raising and closure of unsafe condition cards, lead incident investigations involving their personnel, properly manage changes (MOC) related to engineering projects or Kaizen initiatives, and close actions derived from accident investigations and MOCS audits on time and correctly. Finally, they are obligated to immediately halt any operation where their personnel are exposed to uncontrolled risk, always prioritizing safety. **WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:** Bachelor’s degree or Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field. Knowledge of physicochemical analyses, packaging analyses, and sensory analyses, focused on food and food raw materials. **SKILLS:** People management. Teamwork. Effective communication.
