We invite you to join our team as**:** METALLURGICAL ASSISTANT **EDUCATION: METALLURGICAL OR MATERIALS ENGINEERING.** **POSITION OBJECTIVE:** Support thermal treatment processes and measurements. **JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Conduct hardness testing, microstructure sampling, and chemical concentration calculations. • Operate metallurgical laboratory equipment such as hardness testers, micro\-hardness testers, stereoscopes, and microscopes. * Analyze results from chemical metallurgical laboratory tests. * Inspect the condition and concentration of ERASOLV/OAKITE in washers. * Cut metallic materials using a disc cutter and saw. * Prepare presentations and reports based on laboratory results. * Analyze metallic material microstructures using the KEYENCE microscope. * Transport laboratory materials from the warehouse to the chemical metallurgical laboratory. * Understand the finished product and each of its components. * Collect claimed components or products, as required, for failure analysis. * Prepare analysis presentations when requested. * Monitor laboratory supplies. * Conduct paint tests and contamination tests on parts. * Know the proper method for disposing of product waste. * Prepare mounted samples in bakelite for subsequent metallographic analysis **Requirements:** * **Technical Degree (TSU) or Engineering degree.** * **Availability for shift work and rotating shifts.** * **No transportation issues.** * **Reside near Benito Juárez Industrial Park, 76120 Querétaro, Qro. ·** **Key Technical Knowledge.** * Knowledge of chemicals and their handling. * Knowledge of operating cutting machines. * Knowledge of programming for rosette adjustment on machines. * Proficiency in using hardness testers. * Understanding of thermal treatment characteristics. * Use of bench tools **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong sense of responsibility. * Disciplined. * Proactive. * Results-oriented. * Sense of urgency. * Effective oral and written communication. * Teamwork. * Organization and orderliness. * Frustration tolerance. * Problem-solving ability.
