MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Summary: Responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance, focused on safety, goal achievement, execution of preventive/corrective programs, failure analysis, and machinery optimization to reduce downtime. Key Highlights: 1. Mechanical and electrical maintenance with a focus on safety and goal achievement. 2. Execution of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs. 3. Failure analysis to reduce downtime and optimize machinery. A responsible individual who works under safety standards for required functions and strives to meet departmental maintenance goals on time and as specified. Also executes predictive, preventive, and corrective mechanical and electrical maintenance programs. Conducts failure analysis jointly with production supervisors and maintenance planners to minimize downtime, and maintains all plant machinery in optimal operating condition (e.g., presses, hydraulic units, material transfer systems, electrical wiring, etc). **Responsibilities:** * Completion of machinery inspection and verification checks. * Addresses various needs across departments. * Performs daily corrective activities according to production demand (e.g., liquid tightness, electrical connections, short circuits, mechanical parts replacement requests). * Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency in completing tasks assigned by the shift supervisor. * Follows departmental guidelines including lockout/tagout procedures and proper use of all plant safety devices, as well as staff training. * Maintains facility/production equipment in condition to mitigate environmental impacts. * Tracks action plans arising from audit observations to ensure improvement in electrical wiring, lighting, etc. **Experience:** * Industrial Mechanics and Electricity * Mechanical presses, conveyor belts * Hydraulics and pneumatics * Instrumentation Employment Type: Full-time Benefits: * Savings fund * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers Education: * Incomplete or ongoing Technical Superior degree (Preferred) Experience: * Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) * General maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
