Maintenance Assistant

Description

A leading company in the metal-mechanical sector, specialized in high-level industrial manufacturing processes, is seeking a committed **Maintenance Technician**, dedicated to quality and continuous improvement. **Main responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery, equipment, and facilities. * Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures. * Respond to incidents in real time to minimize production downtime. * Ensure proper operation of critical equipment during startup and shutdown of operations. * Participate in the installation, adjustment, and relocation of industrial machinery. * Perform maintenance on general facilities (lighting, electrical networks, compressed air, etc.). * Prepare technical reports and track maintenance activities. * Propose improvements to optimize equipment performance and reduce failures. * Comply with safety, quality, and environmental guidelines (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001). * Apply the 5S methodology to maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in the workplace. **Required experience** * 3 to 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance (mandatory). * Diagnosis and repair of electromechanical failures. * Experience in metal-mechanical or heavy manufacturing environments. * Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment. * Knowledge of general services (basic electricity, plumbing, etc.). * Work under industrial safety standards and use of PPE. **Required knowledge** * Industrial mechanics (assembly, disassembly, and adjustment of components). * Industrial electricity (reading diagrams, handling control panels, motors, and VFDs). * Pneumatics and hydraulics (diagnosis and maintenance of systems). * Interpretation of mechanical, electrical, and technical diagrams. * Use of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools. * Use of measuring instruments (vernier calipers, multimeters, pressure gauges, etc.). **We offer** * Monthly gross base salary + statutory benefits If you meet the profile, send your CV and take the next step in your career within a world-class operation!
