Your talent can inspire an entire community—we are looking for: ***Instructional Designer*** ### **Objective** Ensure the design, strengthening, and implementation of meaningful learning experiences for UDEM students by providing expert mentoring to faculty in competency-based instructional design, delivering continuous faculty development, and integrating educational trends and innovation—thereby contributing to the development of teaching practices aligned with the Educational and Pedagogical Model and the **Next Generation Faculty** approach. ### **Main Responsibilities** Advise, review, and provide feedback to undergraduate and graduate faculty on: * Competency-based instructional design under the UDEM Pedagogical Model and Educational Model, supporting undergraduate and/or graduate faculty requiring guidance and mentoring to develop their course instructional design within the institutional LMS, across any delivery modality or for projects requiring instructional design. * Competency-based learning experience design for sessions or classes in any modality, applying pedagogical methodologies, strategies, or techniques, while supporting the use of official educational-technological tools/applications or those included in the CDA’s training catalog. * Competency-based instructional design in lesson planning derived from implementing projects such as Edulab, Generative Artificial Intelligence, Storytelling, and other emerging educational trends. * Ensuring implementation of the Next Generation Faculty Model through proposals for faculty development and training based on NGF training programs and other initiatives enriching faculty development. * Training faculty in workshops including “Competency-Based Instructional Design,” “Storytelling-Based Learning Experience Design,” and “4C’s-Based Learning Experience Design,” all part of Module 09: Competency-Based Instructional Design. * Designing and publishing course and workshop content in the institutional LMS, as well as related resources (tutorials, guides, dynamic materials) for the Instructional Design Coordination. Proposing support materials and resources that enrich faculty knowledge and skills, collaborating with graphic designers and technology advisors to publish such products. * Coordinating Faculty Learning Communities associated with the Instructional Design Coordination and collaborating with other coordinations; activities include: identifying participant faculty profiles and instructor faculty, defining thematic focus, organizing and managing logistics with instructors, agreeing upon dates, schedules, and modalities, requesting e-cards, issuing certificates, and tracking certified participants. * Monitoring administration of courses and workshops offered by the Instructional Design Coordination, including: registering and deregistering faculty in Banner, using and managing the Argos tool, sending welcome emails, scheduling meetings, timely issuance of certifications, reviewing faculty feedback, and sharing evaluations with instructors. ***Academic Requirements:*** Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields. ***Minimum 3 Years of Experience:*** Instructional design. Undergraduate-level teaching. Information management. Academic advising. ***Required Skills:*** Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and professional communication).
