General Accountant — Tax Compliance Expert **Location:** Santa Catarina, N.L. **Schedule:** Full-Time (Mon-Fri) **Join our team as General Accountant and become the key to our financial health!** We are seeking a Public Accounting professional passionate about accuracy and regulatory compliance to manage accounting and tax operations. If you have experience leading the full accounting cycle and seek a role with direct responsibility and personnel management, this is your opportunity! **What You’ll Do Daily?** * Lead the accounting team (1 person) to ensure efficiency in recording financial transactions. * **Tax Specialist:** You will be directly responsible for calculating and timely filing federal and state taxes. * Prepare complete and reliable financial statements for management. * Perform detailed bank account, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations. * Maintain control and valuation of the company’s fixed assets. * Collaborate closely with HR and the administrative department for efficient budget management. * Serve as the primary contact and coordinator during audit processes. **Requirements to Apply** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (degree or candidate). * Minimum **3 years** of experience as General Accountant or similar position. * **Advanced** proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory). * In-depth knowledge of current tax regulations. * Experience in the **Manufacturing** sector and ERP system usage (CONTPAQi, SAP, etc.) will be considered an advantage.
