Asterisk Analyst

Description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in administration and support of IP telephony platforms based on Asterisk; must hold dCAP certification and possess skills to implement, monitor, and support enterprise communication solutions. Main responsibilities * Administration and configuration of Asterisk servers. * Implementation and maintenance of IP telephony solutions. * Monitoring and diagnosis of incidents on VoIP platforms. * Configuration of extensions, SIP trunks, and dialing rules. * Technical support to users and ticket handling. * Backup and updating of PBX configurations. * Integration of telephony services with enterprise systems. * Preparation of technical documentation and incident reports. * Optimization of performance and stability of the communications infrastructure. Responsibilities * Ensure platform availability and proper operation of the telephony system. * Resolve technical incidents promptly and effectively. * Maintain security and updates of Asterisk systems. * Coordinate testing and validation after changes or implementations. * Propose improvements to optimize internal and external communication processes. * Comply with established support policies and service level agreements. Requirements * Degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technologies, or related field. * **dCAP certification is mandatory.** * Experience in Asterisk administration and VoIP telephony. * **Knowledge of Linux and networking.** * Proficiency in SIP/IAX protocols. * Experience in troubleshooting and monitoring services. * Basic knowledge of databases and servers. * Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Teamwork and effective communication.
