




Position Summary: Ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing operations, guaranteeing product production, packaging, and shipment in accordance with quality and safety standards, while coordinating production departments and operational personnel. Quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance Ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing operations by guaranteeing product production, packaging, and shipment in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements, through coordination of production departments and supervision of operational personnel. **Roles and Responsibilities:** * Establish, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes to drive productivity and operational efficiency. * Lead, develop, and manage production teams, ensuring adherence to operational standards, quality, and delivery objectives. * Ensure control and analysis of operational data through production records, reports, and data analytics for decision-making. * Support new product introductions by proactively identifying equipment, resource, and capability requirements. * Supervise shop-floor operations, ensuring execution per standards and providing timely feedback and corrective actions. * Ensure availability of required personnel through timely hiring and resource allocation. * Guarantee receipt, alignment, and execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS). * Prioritize operational requirements (daily, weekly, and monthly) to ensure achievement of business objectives. * Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, operational standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA). * Ensure availability of necessary documentation for proper execution of production. * Verify correct administration and execution of personnel work schedules. * Provide support and resolution for day-to-day operational issues, ensuring uninterrupted operations. * Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with product quality standards. * Lead the development and implementation of the plant’s continuous improvement strategy and operational excellence model. * Develop and implement improvement and optimization initiatives to achieve cost-saving targets. * Lead the transformation toward a Lean Manufacturing model, driving operational efficiency, waste elimination, and plant-wide continuous improvement. * Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives via Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects, including talent development and training (Green/Black Belt). * Implement and standardize process control and improvement tools—including SPC systems—ensuring adoption across all production lines and product families. * Define, monitor, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs), promoting data-driven decision-making and improving business outcomes (costs, variability, supply chain). * Strengthen Lean Six Sigma culture through staff training, standardization of best practices, and organizational alignment to maximize efficiency and synergy. * Ensure full compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines—including risk identification and reporting, regulatory compliance, incident investigation, implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions—as well as participation in training, committees, and emergency response teams, promoting a zero-accident culture. **Required Qualifications:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering. The candidate must demonstrate proven leadership skills, vision, and influence over teams both within and outside their direct authority. * Experience: Minimum 7 years of managerial-level experience in manufacturing and continuous improvement. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred; experience building Lean systems is required. * Languages: English and Spanish (bilingual). * Competencies: Analytical thinking, teamwork, and strong leadership, communication, supervision, and interpersonal skills. Ability to ensure compliance with organizational policies, rules, and procedures. * Technical Knowledge: Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization tools.
