Objective: Ensure compliance with APQP deliverables relevant to quality responsibilities during new project launches.
* Ensures implementation of organizational, IATF, AIAG, and customer-specific requirements during the pre-launch phase of projects.
* Develops and updates presentations, executive summaries, and KPIs for reviewing quality department deliverables during the project phase of new products.
* Ensures effective implementation of core tools during the project phase.
* Leads cross-functional teams for analysis and resolution of corrective and potential issues.
* Maintains up-to-date customer-specific requirements—whether in files or portals—and possesses in-depth knowledge and mastery of AIAG quality manuals / core tools.
* Actively participates in customer follow-up meetings and reports progress.
* And other related duties.
Experience and Requirements
* Experience implementing projects as a Quality Engineer.
* Knowledge and proficiency in Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plans,
* SPC, MSA, APQP).
* Internal Auditor for IATF 16949 (preferred).
* Knowledge of IATF 16949,
* Knowledge of VDA 6.3 (preferred).
* Manufacturing processes (Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 6S, SMED, Kaizen).
* SAP and XA knowledge (preferred).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
* Language: English — 85% spoken and written.
* Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred).
* Experience in the automotive industry.
