Technology team collaboration for commercial management At Workana, we are looking for a **PHP Developer specializing in SugarCRM** to join the team of one of our clients: "A Mexican financial institution focused on providing solutions tailored to the economic environment and customers' needs." **About the Role:** The position is part of the Technology team, focused on optimizing and evolving the corporate CRM application—a key system for commercial management and customer relationships. **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop, maintain, and optimize custom modules within the SugarCRM environment using Module Builder and Module Loader. * Implement new features, integrations, and system version upgrades. * Collaborate with business and IT teams in the technical definition of CRM improvements and evolution. * Administer and optimize the MySQL database, ensuring data integrity and performance. * Manage version control using GitHub and follow collaborative development best practices. **Mandatory Requirements:** * **5 years of PHP development experience**, applying programming best practices and working on scalable web projects. * Proven real-world experience with **SugarCRM**, including development, maintenance, or upgrades. * Solid knowledge of **CRM module customization and configuration**, using tools such as **Sugar Module Builder and Module Loader**. * Proficiency in **JavaScript, HTML, and CSS** for frontend development. * Experience with **MySQL databases**, including schema design, optimized queries, and basic administration. * Familiarity with **GitHub**, for collaborative work and code management. * Desirable experience in **corporate environments or the financial sector**, with the ability to adapt to structured processes and multidisciplinary teams. * Availability to work 8 hours per day, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, in the **GMT\-6 time zone**. **Contract Terms:** * **Work Mode:** 100% remote. * **Schedule:** Full-time. * **Compensation:** between USD 2\.800 and 3\.000 per month. * **Contract Type:** Service provision contract via Workana. * **Duration:** 12 months, with potential renewal based on strong performance. **Selection Process:** * Brief asynchronous video screening on Hireflix. * Technical theoretical interview with the client. * Technical practical interview with the client.
