Job Objective • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in plant operations, guaranteeing proper management of permits, authorizations, and applicable regulations, as well as leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce environmental impact. • Main Responsibilities • Manage environmental procedures with government agencies (SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, ASEA, SCT, among others). • Coordinate the acquisition, renewal, and updating of permits and authorizations. • Supervise logs, manifests, and records of incoming and outgoing materials at collection centers. • Verify compliance with environmental requirements at the plant and recycling facility. • Respond to audits and inspections conducted by authorities. • Coordinate environmental studies with external providers. • Prepare and submit regulatory reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual). • Manage civil protection and safety programs at the plant. • Con • Train customers on waste handling. • Support internal and external audits. Profile and Competencies • Knowledge of environmental legislation and current regulations. • Experience managing administrative environmental procedures and processes. • Experience in waste management. • Knowledge of environmental audits. • Organization, planning, and activity follow-up. • Management and control of technical documentation. Requirements • Education: Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. • Experience: 1–3 years recommended in a similar position. • Knowledge of Mexican environmental regulations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
