Position Summary: Comprehensive coordination and management of foreign trade operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective communication with clients and internal teams. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination of foreign trade operations and document management. 2. End-to-end shipment tracking and communication with clients. 3. Cross-departmental collaboration for information traceability and control. **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, Customs, or related field. * Preferred: Courses or diplomas in customs legislation, international logistics, or supply chain management. **Experience** * Minimum 1 year of experience in: foreign trade operations (import/export), shipment tracking (maritime, air, or land), interaction with customs brokers, freight forwarders, or traffic departments. * Preferred experience in **in-house** setups or direct client service. **Technical Knowledge:** * Customs clearance process in Mexico. * Foreign trade documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, customs entry form). * Incoterms. **Proficiency in:** * Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, database management). * Operating/logistics systems. * Basic understanding of: Non-tariff regulations and restrictions. * Intermediate English (reading documents and basic communication). **Soft Skills** * **Organization and attention to detail** (critical for document control). * **Follow-up and sense of urgency** (ensuring no operations are dropped). * **Effective communication** (serving as the bridge between client and operations). * **Proactivity** (anticipating operational issues). * **Analytical ability** (identifying inconsistencies or risks). * **Working under pressure** (handling time-critical operations). * **Customer service orientation** (solution-focused and proactive attitude). **Core Competencies** * Managing multiple simultaneous operations. * Prioritizing tasks based on operational impact. * Information traceability and control. * Cross-departmental coordination (client – traffic – customs). **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate initial planning of foreign trade operations between the account executive and Grupo Modelo’s internal team, aligning operational and documentation requirements. * Receive, validate, and submit commercial documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.), ensuring compliance with current customs regulations. * Manage and track inquiries regarding tariff classification between the customs broker and Grupo Modelo’s internal team. * Prepare and complete forms and letters required by customs authorities for cargo clearance. * Coordinate obtaining signatures from the legal representative on official documentation required for foreign trade operations. * Conduct end-to-end operational tracking of shipments, from initiation through customs release, ensuring adherence to timelines and requirements. * Review and validate expense statements, and manage clarifications or corrections with the billing department when necessary. * Digitize and maintain document control for expense statements and operational files. * Maintain constant communication with Grupo Modelo’s team to provide operation status updates. **Benefits** * Competitive **gross monthly salary**, commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits: Social security, vacation days, vacation bonus, and year-end bonus. * Additional benefits: Savings fund and food vouchers. * Paid leave. * Working hours: Monday to Friday.
