Sales Floor Associate

Position Summary: Provide operational support in the store for sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to meet performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in meeting operational and commercial performance indicators 2. Arrange and display merchandise on the sales floor 3. Provide excellent in-store and telephone customer service Provide operational floor support in the store by executing applicable operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in accordance with applicable merchandise arrangement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Handle customer inquiries by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing to deliver excellent service reflected in counter sales closures, and answer customer phone calls to resolve inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit cards, and process returns in compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment processing and sales transaction closures. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience is preferred.
