Position Summary: Provide operational floor support in store activities, including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service, to meet performance metrics. Key Highlights: 1. Completed high school and customer service experience Provide operational floor support in store activities by executing applicable operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in trucks, following relevant stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper fronting and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor to ensure correct merchandise placement and store presentation. * Deliver customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby providing excellent service reflected in counter sales closure; also handle customer phone calls to address questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately process transactions at the register using cash or credit cards, and process returns in compliance with register payment policies to ensure effective payment processing and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
