We are seeking: **LAUNDRY GENERAL ASSISTANT (IRONING)** **Position Objective** We seek a Laundry General Assistant (Ironing) responsible for supporting the finishing and presentation process of linens, uniforms, and garments, ensuring they are delivered in optimal condition regarding cleanliness, ironing, and presentation, in accordance with the company's established quality standards. Their primary function will be to operate and support ironing, folding, sorting, and arranging textile items, contributing to the proper functioning of the laundry area and timely supply of linens for hotel operations. **Main Responsibilities** * Iron assigned linens, uniforms, and garments. * Fold, sort, and arrange clean clothing for storage or delivery. * Identify different fabric types and apply the appropriate ironing process. * Verify that garments are clean and in good condition prior to delivery. * Detect stains, damage, or defects in textiles and report them to the supervisor. * Safely operate industrial irons, presses, and finishing equipment. * Maintain a clean and orderly ironing area. * Support the organization and control of linens and uniforms. * Meet established timeframes for garment processing. * Follow applicable safety and hygiene regulations for the laundry area. **Desired Knowledge** * Basic ironing techniques. * Identification and handling of various fabric types. * Operation of industrial irons and laundry equipment. * Folding and presentation of hotel linens. * Sorting of clothing and textiles. * Good laundry hygiene practices. * Care and preservation of garments and uniforms. * Basic operational procedures in hotel laundries. **Skills** * Attention to detail. * Organization and tidiness. * Speed and productivity. * Responsibility and commitment. * Teamwork. * Ability to follow procedures. * Concentration on repetitive tasks. * Service-oriented attitude. * Punctuality. * Careful handling of garments and textiles. **Suggested Requirements** * Minimum education: Completed secondary school. * Experience in laundry, dry cleaning, or ironing (preferred). * Flexible availability. * Ability to stand for extended periods. * Willingness to work under production and quality targets. **Competencies** * Quality orientation. * Adherence to procedures. * Productivity. * Collaborative work. * Responsibility. * Commitment to service. * Attention to detail. * Work organization. **INTERESTED?
