We are seeking an **Animation Manager** at Grand Palladium Riviera Maya. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Assist your supervisor in coordinating activities. * Support the dance troupe in both theaters. * Assist the department head with overall activity scheduling. * Assign tasks to your staff. * Address guest or colleague complaints and suggestions. * Attract guests’ daily attention through the activity program. * Increase the number of guests requesting our services. * Provide training to newly hired staff. * Train, teach, and lead recreational physical games and activities for staff. * Coordinate activities among department members. * Announce daily scheduled activities via sound equipment. * Evaluate staff under your supervision. * Ensure guests attending animation areas (theater, pools, sports courts, and discos) are entertained at all times. * Maintain an orderly list of contracts. * Organize, execute, and monitor cultural animation activities. * Organize, execute, and monitor evening entertainment and show activities. * Perform checklists for missing or required items. * Conduct various recreational activities (Zumba, water pool, etc.). * Prepare the daily activity schedule. * Conduct interviews for prospective staff. * Produce shows. * Schedule staff breaks and work shifts. * Develop animation activity projects. * Conduct inspections to verify that supervised staff are performing assigned activities. * Request and purchase work equipment. * Plan, coordinate, and execute special events (themed days). * Report equipment malfunctions to your immediate supervisor. * Monitor attendance of staff under your supervision. * Review contract expiration dates. * Supervise theater activities. * Supervise sports activities conducted by animators. * Substitute for the Animation Manager during their absence. * Ensure the work area is consistently clean and organized. * Verify proper functioning of sound equipment. * Verify maximum utilization of material resources. * Verify cleaning is performed in the work area and office. * Verify sports activities are conducted in pools. * Check for pending tasks in the work area. **In exchange for your commitment and motivation, we offer:** * Genuine growth opportunities within an internationally expanding company. * An excellent working environment. * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements. * Continuous training and learning experiences. **Requirements:** --------------- **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Radio and TV Production. * Technician in Physical and Sports Activity Animation. * Higher Technician in Tourism Animation; Technician in Tourism Animation. * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; Technician in Tourism and Hospitality; Higher Technician in Animation. * Specialization in Entertainment for Tourism Companies. **Experience and Technical Knowledge:** * 3–4 years as an Animation Assistant. * Knowledge of recreational programs, sports activities, animation techniques, and group dynamics. * Knowledge of first aid. * Team management skills. * Advanced English proficiency for speaking, translating, and writing the language perfectly. * Basic French, German, and Italian.
