**Probamex is a 100% Mexican company dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and marketing of natural-origin ingredients for the food, beverage, pet food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries.** We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant: Position Objective Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, supplies, and services while meeting quality, safety, and certification requirements (FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, and Kosher) through proper administrative purchasing management. Position Requirements: · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Chemistry, Food Engineering, Pharmaceutical and Biological Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field. · English: Intermediate – Advanced · Experience: 2–3 years in purchasing; proven experience in the food industry is mandatory. · Knowledge: ERP systems, intermediate Excel, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, Kosher · Competencies: Organization, adherence to procedures, communication, quality orientation, and ability to work under pressure. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with SGC or SGIA procedures. · Request and evaluate quotations from approved suppliers. · Verify compliance with FSSC 22000 requirements (suppliers, traceability, documentation). · Maintain document control for internal and external audits. · Track deliveries and resolve deviations. · Record transactions in the ERP system. · Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Warehouse departments.
