**Process and Quality Engineer for on-site and warehouse operations** ***Professional Requirements***: Industrial and Systems Engineer, Industrial Engineer in Productivity, or Productivity Technician, Production Technician, Machinery and Tools Technician; proficiency in Excel and AUTOCAD. ***PAY: WEEKLY*** ***Technical Knowledge***: machinery and tools, metric calipers, Vernier calipers. ***Experience***: minimum 1 year (preferably in a steel manufacturing company at supervisor level). ***Competencies***: \*Initiative \*Working under pressure \*Customer orientation \*Interpersonal skills \*Teamwork \*Results orientation \*Decision making \*Planning \*Problem solving ***Work Schedule***: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM ***Key Responsibilities***: * **Optimize production processes**: Analyze and improve operations such as rolling, casting, cutting, heat treatment, etc., to increase efficiency, yield, and reduce scrap. * **Quality control and assurance**: Verify that steel complies with mechanical, chemical, and dimensional specifications per applicable standards and customer requirements. * **Process indicator monitoring**: Track KPIs related to production, quality, scrap, rework, and process variability. * **Failure and non-conformance analysis**: Investigate root causes of defects (e.g., cracks, dimensional deviations, hardness issues) and propose corrective actions. * **Standardization and documentation**: Develop and maintain operational procedures, work instructions, and control plans. * **Technical support to production**: Assist the production leader in making technical decisions to ensure process continuity, stability, and quality. * **Implementation of continuous improvement**: Apply tools such as FMEA, SPC, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Lean, or Six Sigma as appropriate. * **Regulatory compliance**: Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, as well as internal or external requirements (e.g., ISO). * **Operational training**: Support training of production personnel on process, quality, and operational control topics.
