Because what we create may change, but what we will always do is make a difference. **Job Mission:** Inspecting and packaging finished containers. **Responsibilities:** * Comply with and enforce Ball’s safety policies, adhering to operational safety procedures. * Release product startup to quality standard to ensure smooth start of production run. * Guarantee container quality in attributes, shoulder, and curl through inspection of each nest. * Package containers using a packing table and strapping machine. * Operate the strapping machine and replace strapping material to ensure process flow. * Maintain order and cleanliness of machines and production lines to uphold order and cleanliness standards. * Notify upstream process operators of visible defects for correction. * Segregate non-conforming material for review. * Review non-conforming material for release and palletizing. * Clean the interior of the strapping machine to ensure proper machine operation. * Print labels for pallet identification via the JD Edwards system. * Evaluate strap quality to prevent loose nests or deformed containers. * Support training of newly hired personnel. * Participate in continuous improvement programs. * Attend Company/Training programs. * Review selection and rework. * Perform all other activities assigned by the immediate supervisor to ensure production process continuity. **Competencies:** * Education: Secondary school diploma. * Experience: 2 years in the industry. **TOGETHER WE CAN BE MORE** Develop your career at Ball, the global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging.
