We are seeking a WWTP Technician (Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician) **Position Objective and Description:** Ensure the efficient and continuous operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), guaranteeing compliance with current environmental regulations and the proper availability of reclaimed water for plant services and the powerhouse, while optimizing energy consumption. **Daily Responsibilities:** Operate and supervise WWTP processes, ensuring compliance with SEMARNAT standards NOM\-002, NOM\-003, and NOM\-004. Conduct inspection rounds, detect deviations, and correct operational parameters (chlorination, oxygen levels, processes). Prepare and schedule sodium hypochlorite solutions for automatic chlorination systems. Perform physicochemical and microbiological water analyses (WWTP, reverse osmosis, condensers). Maintain daily logbooks, energy indicators, and operational reports. Keep equipment such as blowers, ultrafiltration systems, and reverse osmosis systems operational. Participate in internal and external audits, safety teams, and quality and food safety programs (GMP, HACCP, SQF). Comply with safety programs, SSPA, and risk prediction (KYT). **Requirements:** **Education:** Technician or Engineer in Water Treatment, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. **Experience:** Minimum 2 years operating a WWTP or in related roles. **Technical Knowledge:** Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants. SEMARNAT environmental regulations (NOM\-002, NOM\-003, NOM\-004\). Organic and inorganic chemistry, basic mechanics and electricity. Ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis systems. Laboratory analysis (conductivity meter, potentiometer, balances, etc.). TPM, GMP, HACCP, SQF. Use of multimeter, ammeter, and power quality analyzer.
