Learn more today! www.bendix.com/careers **JOB DESCRIPTION:** Essential Functions: * Locate material that does not require inspection or has already been released. * Pick and ship material to the production plant, either manually or electronically via Transfer Order (TO) or Kanban. * Physically or systemically move material rejected during receiving inspection to the quarantine area (red zone). * Similarly, locate or ship material released from the red zone to the production plant. * Unload trailers containing material and place it in the designated receiving area. * Physically verify material against the import invoice and supplier documentation. * Receive material in SAP, prioritizing urgent material reported on the critical list. * Identify material requiring receiving inspection using yellow or red cones based on urgency. * Apply receiving and/or FIFO labels to the box(es) corresponding to the received quantity. * Archive all documentation related to receipts—including import invoices and supplier documentation—per procedure. * Report inventory discrepancies identified while performing job responsibilities. * Perform daily inspection of assigned equipment used to carry out work (RF gun, racks, and forklifts). * Conduct scheduled inspections/audits for assigned racks and forklifts; report damages or repairs per procedure. * Perform timely and accurate transactions in SAP. * Comply with applicable QS\-9000 and ISO\-14000 requirements for the Materials Department. * Ensure adherence to the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) process: pick the oldest inspection lot to guarantee correct material flow. * Immediately notify supervisor of any anomaly or special case. * Proper use of and communication via email as assigned to the area. * Maintain the warehouse and receiving area clean and well-organized per the 5S program. * Comply with company-established safety rules. * Comply with procedures established by the Plant and Department. * Participate in Annual Physical Inventories. * Participate in Kaizen Events. * Employees have the authority to stop the production line when they detect a product quality issue or defect. * Support PSA activities and procedures with team members. * Perform all other duties required by the nature of the position. Supervision and Management Responsibilities: * This position is not responsible for supervising other employees. Knowledge: * Computer literacy; knowledge of SAP or other ERP/MRP systems; experience using scales. Experience: * Minimum six months of material handling experience. * Must be over 18 years of age (requirement for forklift license). Skills: * Dynamic individual with immediate adaptability to process changes in systems. * Accustomed to working under pressure. * Availability to change shifts. * Flexible schedule, willingness to work overtime when required, and shift changes.
