*This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board* ### **Job Opening at AMYAConsultores in Benito Juárez, Mexico City** **Leading Company in the Marketing of High-Specialty Medical Equipment and Devices Seeks:** **Position: Reprocessing Technician / Endoscopy** **Education:** Completed high school diploma; Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related fields. **Experience:** Minimum one year of hospital-based experience. **Knowledge:** Familiarity with hospital handling regulations and policies. **Responsibilities:** 1\.\-Transport required equipment or materials for each surgery to the surgical site. 2\.\-Ensure that the consignment location within the assigned hospital maintains adequate inventory levels to support procedures; likewise verify expiration dates. 3\.\-Ensure the consignment area is suitable for maintaining equipment in optimal condition for use. 4\.\-Maintain direct contact with department heads or nursing supervisors to determine, based on scheduling, where materials must be delivered. 5\.\-Perform high-level disinfection processes for endoscopes as specified by the company and by the assigned hospital’s endoscopy service. 6\.\-Monitor and maintain equipment, accessories, supplies, and ensure their proper usage. 7\.\-Promptly report equipment malfunctions (e.g., various endoscopes, leak testers, endoscope reprocessors, and others) to the supervisor and the assigned hospital’s endoscopy service head. 8\.\-Prepare and sterilize endoscopic instruments to uphold safety standards. 9\.\-Assist physicians by handing them instruments and adjusting endoscopes. 10\.\-Document observations and update medical records. 11\.\-Proficiency in operating endoscopic equipment and sedation protocols. 12\.\-Knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques. 13\.\-Ability to respond efficiently to medical emergencies. Work Schedule: Six working days followed by one day off, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The schedule may vary according to the hospitals’ programming needs. Hospitals served: Español and Lomas Verdes — candidates must reside no more than 1 hour and 30 minutes away from these areas.
