**Additional Information** **Job Number**26062490 **Job Category**Engineering \& Facilities **Location**The Westin Playa Vallarta an All\-Inclusive Resort, Paseo de la Marina Sur \#205, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, 48354 **Schedule**Full Time **Located Remotely?**N **Position Type** Non\-Management Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public areas as needed, including flipping mattresses, vacuuming behind and under furniture, performing deep carpet cleaning, touch-up painting, dusting, cleaning bathrooms to ensure all appliances are present in the room and functioning perfectly, cleaning and replacing lighting fixtures, and inspecting cement grout and caulking. Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas according to preventive maintenance procedures and hotel room standard guidelines (e.g., the "General Contractors Purchasing Model" [GCPM], the "Carpet Recovery Effort" [CARE], Preparation Equipment, Perfect Room Equipment). Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment as needed, and various minor repairs such as adjusting toilet seats, replacing light bulbs, and repairing wall holes. Immediately report any maintenance issues, unusual findings, or safety hazards to the manager or supervisor. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and obtain safety certifications. Comply with all company policies and procedures; ensure uniforms and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate their service needs, and fulfill them. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team in achieving common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
