Job Summary: This role involves client interaction, merchandise documentation, and ensuring accurate processing of shipments within a transportation and logistics company. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer service and resolution of needs 2. Accurate documentation of merchandise 3. Review of shipping labels to prevent errors 'Paquetería y Carga del Pacífico” Focused on nationwide land-based transportation of parcels, courier services, and freight. Responsibilities: - Verify work tools before opening to customers. - Report for duty in uniform, organize and clean your work area, and maintain it in that condition throughout the day. - Maintain the best possible attitude when serving customers and resolving their needs. - Document merchandise per Shipping Order, Pickup Order, and Prepaid Order (specifying in the concept or description whether it is an envelope, package, roll, box, bundle, etc.), jointly completed by operations staff and/or customers. - Verify sender information, weight, and dimensions of the merchandise. - Offer cargo insurance, subject to company stipulations. - Apply a signed liability waiver from the customer for shipments requiring it. - Report any malfunction of work tools to your immediate supervisor for repair or preventive maintenance. - Review shipping labels throughout the day to prevent errors and correct them immediately. - File daily all issued and documented shipping labels in sequential order and deliver them to the Management Assistant.
