**SENIOR ENGINEER FOR DECORATION AND ASSEMBLY PROCESSES** **Job Description** Responsible for executing company standards and policies. Responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly work area and ensuring direct subordinates do the same. Conduct and provide analysis of the company’s manufacturing requirements. Evaluate and review the quality of new product requirements (PFMEA, RPNs, Control Plan). Develop and design fixtures, poka-yoke devices, and gauges. Implement manufacturing processes in assembly and decoration areas. Implement and develop systems to eliminate scrap and waste across all company areas. Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing. Design and improve production processes (space reduction and linear \- continuous operation flows). Standardize production processes and workstations. Support the new projects department in implementing line designs for new products. Assist in tracking and implementing corrective actions, 5S, and safety improvements. Support new product development and assist all auxiliary departments. Implement and develop best practices (Kaizen) and optimize manufacturing resources. Develop new technologies for assembly and decoration areas. Follow all verbal and written instructions related to one’s job and all matters concerning one’s department. Develop new inks, foils, and tooling for decoration equipment. Implement cost-reduction projects for operations. Responsible for production equipment and implementation of controls to sustain them. **Education:** Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions to perform assigned tasks. Knowledge of various quality control systems and methods. **Experience/Skills:** Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing systems, plastic part assembly, and decoration manufacturing processes. The Decoration and Final Assembly Engineer must meet at least one of the following: 3–5 years of experience in adjusting automated–mechanical equipment, plus extensive knowledge of pad printing, silk screening, hot stamping, and heat transfer labeling. Requires use of judgment to comply with established methods and procedures involved in the job. Teamwork, decision-making, working under pressure, leadership, communication at all levels, PC proficiency, software and systems relevant to the position, analytical ability, conversational and written English, Six Sigma knowledge, Autocat, 5S, high sense of urgency.
