




Position Summary: Ensure productivity and quality of repairs in the workshop by managing teams, processes, and resources to meet objectives. Key Highlights: 1. Analysis and optimization of workshop efficiency **General Objective:** Ensure workshop productivity as well as quality in performed repairs or services, thereby contributing to the achievement of management-defined objectives. **Education Level:** Completed Automotive Technical Program. **Knowledge:** Implementation of work processes, control and tracking tools, tools for information analysis and problem solving, computer equipment operation, Office software suite (Excel – intermediate level, Word – intermediate level, Outlook), internet navigation **Experience:** At least 1 year of experience in managing work teams. **Expected Behaviors:** Is objective, analytical, calm, stable, and persevering in approaching tasks. Is motivated by challenging and difficult tasks requiring thorough analysis. **Main Responsibilities:** * Workshop Planning: Calculate workshop capacity per type of work it can handle, determining the optimal allocation of available resources. Identify ongoing jobs and consider them when updating workshop capacity. Consider scheduled appointments to determine remaining capacity for walk-in customers. * Reserve vehicle repairs in the electronic and/or manual Magnetoplan system, specifying assigned technician, type of work, and required repair time. * Coordinate, guide, and supervise workshop staff’s work while maintaining discipline and a positive working environment. * Coordinate support from Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician to Service Technicians for complex jobs or when encountering difficulties during repairs. **Manage complementary diagnostics for** General repairs requiring such diagnostics, via the Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician. * Verify and validate repair estimates within the workshop area. * Ensure workshop information systems are used and consulted by technical staff, taking responsibility for work execution and compliance with Service Actions and Campaigns according to instructions described in systems and repair manuals provided by the Brand. * Review and authorize additional jobs identified by Service Technicians, and reserve them in Magnetoplan once authorized by the customer. * Review technicians’ repair time records and identify average times required for various operations within each repair, aiming to minimize over- or under-scheduling risks for workshop occupancy. * Evaluate and analyze records of productive and unproductive time to optimize staff efficiency and productivity, and promote balanced workshop utilization. * Ensure DISS reports are correctly and timely closed. * Jointly define, with the Service Manager and Quality Controller, corrective actions that—once implemented—guarantee elimination of repeat repairs. * Monitor warranty repairs to ensure compliance with VWM standards and obligations assumed by the dealership. * Supervise proper placement of repaired/completed vehicles in their designated areas. * Maintain special and hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical literature in operational condition. * Propose career development plans for technicians based on performance and specialization. * Ensure all diagnostic equipment is updated to the latest version communicated by VWM to its Volkswagen dealership network, as well as workshop IT tools (systems and applications). * Conduct periodic inventory of equipment and tools (special and hand tools) at least once every six months. * Apply procedures and forms to which the dealership committed to VWM for service process compliance, according to job responsibilities. * Attend courses and training sessions convened by VWM for dealership network personnel, as well as internal courses provided by the dealership. * Is responsible for monitoring compliance with optimal Safety and Hygiene conditions in the Service Workshop.
