Systems Manager Position Description: The Systems Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and overseeing the company’s information and technology systems. This role is critical to ensuring that the company’s technological infrastructure supports its strategic and operational goals. Requirements: * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred. * **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a role equivalent to Systems Manager, leading the company’s 360-degree systems. * **Certifications:** Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP), cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP), or specific technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle) are advantageous. Knowledge: * **Technological Infrastructure:** Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux), networks (LAN, WAN, VPN), databases (SQL, NoSQL), and hardware. * **Cybersecurity:** In-depth knowledge of security policies, firewalls, antivirus solutions, risk management, and disaster recovery. * **Enterprise Systems:** Experience with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise management systems. * **Emerging Technologies:** Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), artificial intelligence, IoT, and Big Data. Responsibilities: * **Technology Infrastructure Management:** * Supervise and maintain the company’s technological infrastructure. * Ensure information security and data protection. * Administer databases and guarantee information integrity and availability. * **Strategic Planning:** * Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with corporate objectives. * Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to achieve corporate goals. * **Project Management:** * Lead technology projects from conceptualization through implementation, with continuous oversight. * Coordinate closely with all departments to ensure technology projects consistently meet their needs. * **Technical Support and Team Management:** * Provide technical support and resolve information systems-related issues. * Supervise and ensure high performance and professional development. * **Vendor Relations:** * Manage relationships with technology vendors and their services. * Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure optimal terms for the company.
