




Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible Port Engineer to maintain vessels in operation, implement maintenance programs, and support maritime emergencies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain vessels and equipment in operational condition. 2. Carry out and implement maintenance programs (SVISION). 3. Support captains during accidents and emergency situations. At **OMC Operadora**, we are looking for a Port Engineer to join our team. **Requirements:** * Industrial Engineer, Naval Mechanical Engineer, or Logistics Engineer. * Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions. * Professional degree and official ID. * Proficiency in Microsip System (desirable). * Intermediate Microsoft Excel. * Must reside in Ciudad del Carmen (mandatory). **Functions / Skills:** * Responsible for maintaining vessels and their equipment in operational condition. * Carry out and implement the SVISION program, which serves as the maintenance program. * Keep the General Manager informed of any situation affecting the normal and safe operation of vessels. * Provide support to vessel captains when facing accidents and emergency situations. * Participate in SGI / SGS audits. * Responsible for verifying maintenance reports generated onboard. * Responsible for verifying and closing maintenance reports in the SVISION program from shore. * Prepare manual requisitions (not via requisition system) when assigned to intervene on equipment but unable to complete the task due to lack of materials under their responsibility, and forward them to the Marine Operations Assistant.
