Their primary function is to ensure that processes, materials, and services comply with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements, as well as internal quality standards. Main Responsibilities * Internal Audits: * Plan and conduct internal audits of the SLSA Quality System in accordance with the established audit program and NOM\-145/1\-SCT3\-2001\. * Conduct spot audits and layer audits to verify correct procedure implementation and promptly detect deviations. * External Audits: * Support external audits conducted by regulatory authorities (AFAC) and customers. * Coordinate and participate in audit opening and closing meetings. * Follow up on implementation of corrective actions arising from external audits. * Supplier Audits: * Conduct audits of suppliers and subcontracted maintenance companies, verifying compliance with their approved scope and operational limitations. * Identify nonconformities and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * Management of Findings and Corrective Actions: * Analyze adverse findings and collaborate with area owners to develop solutions. * Ensure implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. * Maintain documented evidence of nonconformities and potential issues. * Document Control and Records: * Maintain and keep audit records up to date. * Keep the SLSA Workshop Procedures Manual updated. * Participate in continuous improvement of the quality system and updating of procedures. * Process and Warehouse Oversight: * Audit SLSA internal processes and perform follow-up verifications. * Audit warehouse and received material to ensure compliance with quality requirements. * Regulatory Authority Liaison: * Participate in meetings with AFAC to ensure compliance with current aviation regulations. * Ensure that Repair Shop procedures are controlled and aligned with regulatory requirements. **Job Requirements** -------------------- * Academic Qualifications: * Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field. * Desired specialization or certification in Quality Management, ISO/AS9100 Auditing, or Aviation Regulation. * Professional Experience: * Prior experience in internal and external audits within the aviation or maintenance sector. * Practical knowledge of national regulations (NOM\-145/1\-SCT3\-2001\) and international regulations (AFAC, FAA, EASA). * Experience in supplier audits and management of corrective/preventive actions. * Technical Competencies: * Proficiency in quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100\). * Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and material control. * Ability to develop, execute, and follow up on audit programs. * Technical English (reading, writing, comprehension). * Soft Skills: * Analytical thinking and focus on continuous improvement. * Communication and negotiation skills for interacting with external auditors, suppliers, and authorities. * Leadership and teamwork capability. * Organization and attention to detail. **But what else?
