Position Summary: Supervise the store’s overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining correct operational processes and an optimal work environment. Staff development and training Supervise overall store operations across all areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, employee misrecommendation, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory management tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and AutoZone-provided diagnostic and testing equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s established dress code, interact with each other and our customers with the highest levels of respect, friendliness, and professionalism, and apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost savings across all controllable consumptions within the team. * Assign and follow up on tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review the daily cash count for the main register, conduct cash sweeps, and perform cash register closings for your direct reports, following AutoZone’s prescribed procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store diagnostic stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
