Junior Java Backend Developer Requirements: Experience: 6 months to 1 year of backend experience using Java and Spring Boot. Proficiency in building RESTful APIs, software development best practices, automated testing, and experience with Continuous Integration (CI). Java and Spring Framework REST Web Services (Consumption) Relational databases Version control Main Responsibilities or Functions: Design and develop efficient and secure REST APIs. Participate in the design of microservices architecture. Collaborate in code reviews. Document APIs for consumption by other teams. Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues. Follow client processes to deploy microservices into Production. Technical Specifications: Java: Strong command of Java SE, knowledge of Collections, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and exception handling. Spring Boot and Spring Framework: Practical experience developing REST APIs using Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security. REST API Design: Knowledge of REST principles, HTTP verbs, and status codes.
