Job Description and Responsibilities
Oversee, direct, and ensure the comprehensive execution of the company's planning process, guaranteeing timely material availability, feasibility of the master production plan, and on-time and in-full fulfillment of customer commitments within a highly dynamic and ever-changing operational environment
The Planning Superintendent will be responsible for leading the planning department with a strategic and execution-oriented vision focused on results, ensuring agile responses to changes in demand, customer priorities, capacity constraints, materials, or internal resources. The role requires acting as an integrator across production, procurement, engineering, warehousing, quality, customer service, and other support functions—achieving agreements, commitments, and concrete actions to sustain the production plan and service level
Experience and Requirements
* Completed Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Graduate degree or specialization in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or administration is desirable.
* Solid experience in production planning, materials planning, scheduling, or supply chain within the maquiladora industry.
* Experience in metal-mechanical companies, discrete manufacturing, or production environments with high product mix and variability.
* Experience in high-pressure environments with frequent priority shifts and strong customer focus.
* Cross-functional experience in procurement, costing, manufacturing, process engineering, shop-floor control, and logistics is desirable.
* Experience with ERP systems and planning tools.

* Familiarity with Epicor, SQL, Microsoft tools, and project management software is desirable.
* Training in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of Power BI is highly desirable.
