Description
The technician is responsible for verifying and ensuring that assembly lines operate correctly and are maintained in optimal condition. Perform equipment maintenance routines, sensor calibration, and troubleshooting involving mechanical adjustments as well as electronic and pneumatic components.
1\. **Equipment Management:**
* Responsible for responding to maintenance requests for assembly lines, 6-axis robots, vision systems, injection pumps and nozzles; if necessary, connect to the PLC for fault diagnosis and perform inspections.
2\. **Equipment Maintenance:**
* Carry out the preventive maintenance plan for machinery, equipment, and facilities to prevent failures and minimize downtime. Maintenance tasks may be performed on weekends. Meet company-established KPIs.
3\. **Problem Resolution:**
* Respond immediately and effectively to machinery and facility failures; support root cause analysis. Critical failure resolution may extend beyond scheduled working hours.
4\. **Safety Compliance:**
* Safety regulations are paramount. The technician is responsible for adhering to safety procedures and rules, and for using company-provided personal protective equipment.
5\. **Budget Management:**
* Responsible for proper use of tools, materials, and spare parts employed during maintenance tasks.
6\. **Training and Development:**
* Availability to attend training sessions assigned by the company.
7\. **Documentation and Reporting:**
* Conduct inspections and complete assigned maintenance activity records; upon completion of routines, submit these forms to the supervisor.
8\. **Continuous Improvement:**
* Actively participate in initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity; suggest improvements to optimize equipment performance and reduce costs.
**Requirements:**
* University-level technical degree or related technical program.
* Five years of experience in assembly line maintenance or as a controls technician with 6-axis robots.
* Knowledge of Mitsubishi PLC programming or other Japanese-brand PLCs.
* Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electronic faults, sensor calibration, and advanced pneumatics.
* Flexible schedule availability for any shift, including urgent issue resolution outside regular working hours.
* Basic English proficiency.
