Job Summary: Prepress specialist / graphic arts coordinator to ensure technical preparation of files and compliance with quality standards for offset printing. Key Highlights: 1. Manage color and product traceability. **Prepress Specialist / Graphic Arts Coordinator (Offset)** ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: Hidalgo, Atitalaquia Work Mode: 100% on-site Position Type: Full-time **Position Objective** ----------------------- Ensure correct technical preparation of printing files for product manufacturing, guaranteeing that artwork complies with customer specifications, color standards, and quality requirements for offset printing processes. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Actively collaborate with the sales department to drive growth of the customer portfolio. * Validate critical design elements: overprints, bleeds, trapping, fonts, and color registration. * Coordinate review, preparation, and release of files for offset printing. * Supervise proper generation of color separations, color proofs, and printing plates. * Ensure compliance with customers’ technical specifications across all files. * Manage key tools (plates, dies, etc.) with suppliers. * Verify proper equipment operation and material availability, reporting maintenance needs. * Validate color proofs prior to release to production. **Requirements** -------------- **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years in prepress (RIP – CTP). * Experience in the graphic industry, folding cartons, and offset processes. * Proficiency in color management, technical file control, and print testing. ### **Essential Technical Knowledge** * RIP and CTP workflows (thermal plates). * Offset printing. * Die-cutting, embossing, hot stamping, and special finishing processes. * Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite and MAC environment. * Workflow with Prinergy and Preps (imposition). * Quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 12647\). * Color management and product traceability. * Structural design and production processes in graphic arts. **We Offer** ------------- * Competitive salary. * Statutory and above-statutory benefits. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Job stability within a solid company in the graphic industry.
