ESTAFETA’s policies, processes, and procedures applicable to compliance with the Minimum Security Standards.* *Why do you do it?* *To obtain and/or maintain supply chain security certifications (OEA and C\-TPAT), comply with the Minimum Security Standards, and implement these procedures across all ESTAFETA facilities.* *2\.\-* *What do you do?* *Conduct regular audit visits to ESTAFETA’s OEA- and C\-TPAT-certified facilities or to any facility requiring improvements to its security policies, protocols, processes, and procedures.* *How do you do it?* *By preparing audit visits based on physical and documentary verification of information provided by the Corporate Security Directorate and the National Customs Administration Management, supplemented by additional data collected by the certification advisor.* *By generating detailed audit visit reports identifying and describing vulnerabilities, compliance items, non-compliance items, strengths, weaknesses, and threats in implementing the established policies, protocols, processes, and procedures.* *Why do you do it?* *To verify and determine whether facilities comply with the Minimum Security Standards set by the authorities, as well as with internal policies, protocols, processes, and procedures.* *3\.* *What do you do?* *Prepare follow-up visits to audited facilities.* *How do you do it?* *Based on prior OEA and C\-TPAT audit results, internal corporate security audits, and risk analyses derived from the National Seizure Registry and the National Insured Cargo Registry.* *By conducting follow-up visits to company facilities to verify continued compliance with minimum security standards, as well as with policies, protocols, processes, and procedures.* *By preparing a visit report detailing compliance items, non-compliance items, areas for improvement, and best practices.* *Why do you do it?* *To determine whether those responsible for correctly implementing the Minimum Security Standards, policies, protocols, processes, and procedures continue to comply—or have failed to address findings identified during previous visits.* *4\.* *What do you do?* *Provide guidance to responsible personnel at certified or certification-seeking facilities regarding policies, guidelines, and best practices related to compliance with OEA and C\-TPAT Minimum Security Standards, aiming to improve and strengthen implemented security measures.* *How do you do it?* *By keeping responsible personnel at certified or certification-seeking facilities informed and updated on logistics supply chain security topics.* *By providing advisory support to responsible personnel at certified or certification-seeking facilities who were audited, to resolve identified observations.* *By providing information on new methods and technologies, as well as seminars and training sessions that help responsible personnel at certified or certification-seeking facilities strengthen compliance with the Minimum Security Standards.* *Why do you do it?* *To ensure proper compliance with the Minimum Security Standards, thereby guaranteeing acquisition and/or maintenance of OEA and C\-TPAT certifications.* *5\.* *What do you do?* *Develop and deliver ongoing training and advisory services to international department staff, corporate security personnel, or any other ESTAFETA department on supply chain security, best practices, OEA and C\-TPAT certifications, as well as protocols, processes, and procedures for certified or certification-seeking facilities—and how to implement them to achieve compliance.* *How do you do it?* *By delivering training to newly hired or contracted international department and corporate security personnel through courses, advisory sessions, and research into security best practices, as well as developing necessary materials and conducting joint audit practice exercises—ensuring highly qualified personnel in this field.* *By preparing corporate security personnel assigned to each facility through joint audits, to train them on OEA and C\-TPAT certifications, protocols, processes, procedures, and their proper implementation to meet each of the Minimum Security Standards established by the authorities.* *By researching security best practices within the supply chain environment to foster a stronger security and compliance culture.* *Why do you do it?* *To ensure highly qualified personnel in supply chain security and OEA and C\-TPAT certifications.* *To implement or maintain the Minimum Security Standards across all ESTAFETA facilities, as well as supply chain security policies, protocols, processes, and procedures.* *5\.* *What do you do?* *Maintain evidence required by domestic and international customs authorities regarding supply chain security under the OEA and C\-TPAT programs.* *How do you do it?* *By ensuring personnel responsible for compliance with each Minimum Security Standard in the supply chain generate their evidence folders daily and correctly.* *By maintaining appropriate folders documenting compliance with each Minimum Security Standard, as well as documentation of procedures submitted to the authorities.* *Why do you do it?* *To fulfill any authority requirement and obtain and/or maintain company certifications.* *6\.* *What do you do?* *Carry out necessary procedures and formalities with domestic and foreign authorities to obtain and/or maintain supply chain security certifications.* *How do you do it?* *By preparing applications, security profiles, and required documentation.* *By attending validation visits and responding to information requests.* *By managing and timely updating information in the C\-TPAT portal.* *By fulfilling obligations arising from
