




Position Summary: This role focuses on the management and coordination of induced works and related procedures for infrastructure projects, acting as a liaison among stakeholders. Key Highlights: 1. Management and coordination of induced works in infrastructure projects. 2. Interaction with authorities, subcontractors, and communities. 3. Anticipation and resolution of obstacles affecting the project schedule. The role will primarily focus on monitoring and coordinating matters related to induced works and necessary administrative procedures for project execution. Induced Works Engineer Position focused on management and coordination, not on Project Manager responsibilities nor direct construction execution. Profile: • Education: Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related Engineering degree (with knowledge of construction and installations). • Experience in public works and administrative procedures related to infrastructure. • Experience in heavy infrastructure projects (highways, urban works, utilities, municipal works, etc.). • General knowledge of civil works, electrical installations, and electromechanical systems (must possess knowledge in all three areas). • Experience working with subcontractors, government agencies, and administrative construction management. Primary scope of the position The individual will be responsible for the identification, management, monitoring, and supervision of induced works execution according to the construction schedule, acting as the liaison between the construction partner, authorities, and other involved parties. Key responsibilities include: 1.- Coordination and monitoring of induced works, primarily concerning: • Relocation or adaptation of electrical lines (high and medium voltage) • Relocation or adaptation of telecommunications facilities • Relocation or adaptation of public lighting • Management of underground works diversions • Management of tree removal and environmental issues • Coordination for land adaptation and temporary access arrangements. 2.- Coordination with the construction partner to ensure activities are executed according to the schedule. 3.- Monitoring of administrative procedures, permits, and applications submitted to government agencies. 4.- Logistics coordination to enable site access, movements, and necessary on-site adaptations. 5.- Interaction with local authorities, subcontractors, and, in some cases, communities or neighbors to facilitate project execution. 6.- Anticipating and resolving issues that could affect the project timeline, maintaining organized control and monitoring of multiple parallel administrative procedures.
