Position Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields. (Degree required). Desirable certifications: MBA (or executive diplomas in commercial management) Project Management Professional (PMP) Scrum / Agile (for technology environments) Balanced Scorecard Certification Minimum 7–10 years of experience in commercial or systems engineering roles, with focus on complex enterprise solutions. Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, and vendor-specific certifications related to managed architectures (desirable). Advanced skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation; ability to work autonomously and collaboratively; strategic thinking and results orientation. · Preferably reside near the work location (Polanco). · Knowledge of commercial strategies. · More than 7 years in similar positions. · Experience managing work teams. · Ability to inspire, direct, and develop a team, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented work environment. · In-depth understanding of market dynamics. · Experience negotiating with high-level clients, securing favorable terms for the company. · Experience analyzing KPIs and performance metrics for informed decision-making. · Willingness to travel and conduct client and distributor visits across various regions of the country. · MUST BE FROM THE INDUSTRY. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Development: Lead the design of comprehensive technological solutions for key clients, ensuring alignment with specific business requirements and technical standards. Conduct thorough analysis of customer needs, integrating multiple technologies to deliver optimized and scalable solutions. Prepare detailed technical proposals, including BoMs (Bills of Materials), topological diagrams, and supporting documentation, tailored to customer needs and budgets. Technical Specialization: Possess expert-level proficiency in at least one key architecture (minimum Professional or Design-level certification), with ability to apply this knowledge in complex, high-impact environments. Maintain up-to-date and in-depth knowledge across multiple technology domains (at least two), including Enterprise Networking (EN), Security (SEC), Collaboration (COLLAB), and Data Center (DC). Obtain and maintain advanced certifications both in sales and in technical areas relevant to Overclockers’ architectures and business verticals. Technical Presentations and Demonstrations: Master creation and delivery of technical content to clients and partners, including live demonstrations and proofs of concept (PoC). Effectively communicate benefits and value of proposed solutions, tailoring messaging to audience—whether executives, engineers, or decision-makers. Support for Corporate and Departmental Initiatives: Actively collaborate in demand-generation events such as webinars, workshops, and demonstrations, contributing to Overclockers’ market positioning. Participate in development of new products and services jointly with commercial and marketing teams, providing technical and strategic insight. Customer Relationship Management: Serve as primary technical point of contact for key clients, establishing and maintaining long-term trust-based relationships. Provide ongoing technical consultancy, identifying opportunities to enhance existing solutions and proposing new technologies that add value to the client’s business. Professional Development and Training: Participate in continuous training programs to stay current with latest technological trends and advancements. Mentor junior pre-sales engineers, sharing knowledge and experience to strengthen the team and improve quality of technical proposals.
