Education: Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Automotive Mechanics, Electricity, or related field (verifiable). * Minimum experience: 2 years in corrective and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or vehicles. * Valid driver’s license (federal license preferred, or willingness to obtain one). * Availability for physical labor and outdoor work. * Prior experience in airport environments or with ground support equipment (GSE) is desirable. Essential Technical Knowledge: * Mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic maintenance of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment. * Diagnosis and repair of oil leaks, brake failures, emergency shutdowns, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Structural repairs: welding, painting, bumper installation, and vinyl application. * Operation and repair of: * Tow tractors * Powered conveyor belts * Pushback trucks * Basic reading and interpretation of electrical and mechanical diagrams. * Safe use of hand and power tools. Skills and Competencies: * Focus on operational safety. * Attention to detail and quality of finish. * Proactivity in identifying faults and improvements. * Responsibility and commitment. Key Responsibilities: * Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on GSE. * Ensure proper functionality and aesthetic appearance of equipment. * Document repairs and fault reports. * Comply with safety standards and operational timeframes.
