Position Summary:
Provides support in the store's operational activities—including sales, merchandise placement, and customer service—to ensure achievement of operational and commercial performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:

2. Assist customers and clarify questions regarding products
3. Process cash transactions and handle returns
Provide floor-level operational support in the store by executing assigned operational processes related to sales, merchandise placement, and customer service as defined by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet the operational and commercial performance indicators of the assigned store.
* Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, adhering to applicable merchandise placement guidelines.
* Execute correct planograms;
* Scan merchandise to comply with inventory counts;
* Perform proper front-facing and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as sales-floor cleaning activities, to ensure accurate merchandise placement and store presentation.
* Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing—thereby delivering excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions—and respond to customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders.
* Accurately perform cash register transactions (cash or card), process returns, and adhere to the store’s cash handling policy to ensure effective transaction processing and point-of-sale closure.
* High school diploma completed
* Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant.
* Customer service experience preferred.
