Position Summary: This position involves operating an assigned vehicle to cover daily delivery routes and ensure timely pickup and delivery of merchandise. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for executing delivery routes from HUB to satellite stores. 2. Loads and unloads merchandise and collects returns. 3. Ensures adherence to pickup and delivery timeframes. **Position Description** Properly operate the vehicle assigned by AutoZone, complying with the company’s vehicle operation policies to fulfill daily HUB delivery routes according to established usage policies, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of merchandise to assigned stores. **Responsibilities** * Execute the HUB order delivery route to satellite stores in accordance with logistics procedures established by the HUB Coordinator, using the vehicle assigned by AutoZone. * Load and unload merchandise in compliance with merchandise handling requirements, and collect merchandise returns and empty totes from satellite stores to ensure on-time order delivery to our stores and support stores having required products available in time to close sales. * Conduct daily vehicle inspection using the provided checklist to verify that the assigned vehicle is in good condition and identify required maintenance. Record daily mileage traveled, noting both the initial odometer reading and the final odometer reading upon completion of daily duties. * **Requirements** * Technical degree * One or two years of experience * Prior experience in logistics route management, merchandise delivery, and distribution * Minimum age of 21 years * Availability for rotating shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Sunday AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
