




Position Summary: Preschool Academic Coordinator responsible for educational quality, curriculum supervision, and pedagogical development, promoting innovation and students’ holistic development. Promotion of pedagogical innovation and continuous improvement. **CHMX Preschool Academic Coordinator** **Position Objective:** Contribute to achieving Christel House Mexico’s mission by coordinating and supervising the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and pedagogical activities, ensuring educational quality and alignment with institutional goals. Additionally, promote pedagogical innovation, support teachers’ professional development, and ensure a learning environment conducive to students’ holistic development, aligned with Christel House’s seven domains of the Academic Leadership Framework. Reports directly to the Deputy Academic Director. **Key Responsibilities** **Instructional Leadership and Program Experience** * Promote a pedagogical vision that inspires staff, students, and families. * Implement a high-quality, culturally responsive instructional program aligned with local standards and Christel House expectations. * Develop, implement, and supervise curriculum planning and lesson delivery, ensuring rigorous, student-centered instruction aligned with SEP and CHMX regulations. * Supervise the articulation and implementation of pedagogical strategies to ensure academic rigor. * Supervise the planning, facilitation, and follow-up of academic responsibilities under one’s charge. II. **Strategic Planning, Monitoring, and Execution** * Develop and implement academic plans and priorities aligned with annual objectives. * Monitor students’ academic performance and teaching effectiveness. Analyze assessment data and propose improvements to educational practice. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement and celebrate student and staff achievements. **III. Talent, Data, and People Management** * Participate in staff selection processes using a competency-based approach aligned with Christel House’s Leadership Framework. * Provide professional development for assigned teachers through training cycles and coaching. * Organize and facilitate professional development workshops for teaching staff. * Implement an effective performance management system, including feedback, coaching, and evaluation. * Use data to track student learning, guide teacher development, and design targeted interventions. **Profile Requirements** **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Preschool Education, English Language Teaching, Pedagogy, Education, Psychology, or related field. **Experience** * Minimum 3 years as a preschool or elementary school teacher. * Three years in an academic coordination role in bilingual preschools or elementary schools. * Proven experience in preschool and/or elementary education. **Required Knowledge** * Language: English C1. * ICELT, Delta, or TKT certification. * CLIL methodology (preferred). * Intermediate Excel. * Proficiency in Windows 365 and Google Classroom (preferred). * In-depth knowledge of the NEM (National Educational Model). * Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring high-quality bilingual pedagogical programs. * Familiarity with student-centered learning and early childhood education methodologies. * Effective discipline methodologies. * Instructional design. * Instructional coaching. * Management of teaching teams, recruitment processes, professional development, and performance evaluation. **Competencies:** * Service Orientation and Teamwork: Demonstrate excellent service orientation and ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels. * Results Orientation: Use information and evidence to guide decisions and track progress, consistently striving to advance student and team learning and development. * Talent Management: Ability to select, develop, and evaluate teaching staff, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment. * Analytical Skills: Capacity to collect, analyze, and interpret information to inform interventions. * Effective Communication: Verbal and written communication skills to build trust with students, families, and teachers. * Resilience and Adaptability: Maintain a positive attitude, convey calm to the team, and lead serenely during times of change. * Proactivity and Decision-Making: Ability to act decisively and proactively. * Organizational Values: Embody Christel House Mexico’s values, promote their daily application, and encourage the team to live them with commitment and conviction. **Organizational Values** At Christel House, all team members are expected to embody our Organizational Values to foster a culture of high trust and inclusion, aligned with our mission to transform lives.
