About the Role: Campus Physician In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-aid medical care during emergencies or urgent situations, offering general medical guidance, referring cases requiring specialized medical attention as needed during the individual’s time at the institution, and developing and executing the Annual Health and Preventive Medicine Plan in accordance with applicable regulations. Your Key Responsibilities: -Develop the Annual Health and Preventive Medicine Plan and the Annual First-Aid Plan; participate in developing the Annual EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Plan. -Provide daily medical care to the university community, including initial assessment and referral based on health condition. -Assess and refer individuals according to their potential risk level for medical emergencies occurring within university facilities. -Conduct pre-employment medical examinations in accordance with job requirements and position profiles. -Coordinate with health organizations to carry out vaccination campaigns, accident prevention initiatives, disease prevention programs, and others. -Participate in organizing sessions, tracking progress, and preparing minutes on various topics, in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and established work procedure guidelines. -Serve as a member of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee (CSHT). -Provide guidance to the university community on preventive medicine and school hygiene, health preservation, sexual education, drug dependence, alcoholism, smoking, among others. Candidate Profile We Seek Mandatory Requirements: -Education: Degree and license in Medicine, Medical Surgeon and Obstetrician, or related field. -Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position. -Knowledge of Mexican Official Norms (NOMs) issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), risk management, civil protection, and formation/integration of Occupational Safety and Health Committees. -Desirable: Experience in global or educational environments.
