Position Summary: Oversee the store’s overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining correct operational processes and an optimal work environment. Inventory management and process optimization Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s established dress code, interact with each other and our customers with the highest levels of respect, friendliness, and professionalism, and apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improving them by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and monitor tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise stocking, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct register closings for assigned staff, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when stocking merchandise, conducting vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone México is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
