Job Summary: We are seeking personnel for the preparation and delivery of hospital diets, development of cafeteria menus, maintenance of food safety, and inventory control. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preparation and delivery of hospital diets and cafeteria menus. 2. Implementation of food safety measures and temperature control. 3. Inventory management and coordination with suppliers. Description and details of duties * Preparation of patient diets in a timely manner and in accordance with procedures, verifying correct patient and diet. * Correct delivery of diets, verifying patient identification protocol. * Preparation of dishes according to cafeteria and employee menus, in compliance with procedures. * Maintenance of food safety measures during food preparation and storage. * Strict monitoring of temperatures for cold, hot, and ambient-temperature foods. * Verification of expiration dates upon receipt of supplies. (FIFO SYSTEM) * Inspection of supplies at time of vendor delivery to ensure compliance with receiving standards, as well as verification against purchase orders or invoices. * Conducting warehouse or freezer inventory as instructed. * Preparing food provisions in advance to ensure adequate stock before shift end. * Performing cleaning and disinfection of the area according to established schedule. * Conducting thorough weekly cleaning of the area, maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the week. * Reporting shortages of supplies for replenishment or, where applicable, timely preparation of dishes. * Performing any other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. Experience and Requirements * High school diploma. * Food preparation, food safety practices, development of menus or hospital diets. * 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in hospital kitchens, industrial cafeterias, or clinical areas. * Punctual, professional appearance, organized, responsible, proactive, courteous, service-oriented, and able to work in a team. * Age 25\-40. * Gender: Unrestricted.
