Summary: Eaton is seeking a Senior Buyer to coordinate import/export logistics, manage demand, and optimize material flow within the warehouse. Highlights: 1. Coordinate import and export logistics in compliance with international laws. 2. Manage demand and ensure timely scheduling of customer orders. 3. Optimize space and volume for shipments to achieve cost reductions. Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Sr Buyer. **What you’ll do:** ------------------- **Primary Function \- Job Summary** * Coordinate import and export logistics in the company for direct \- indirect materials and finished goods, in compliance with custom Mexican and foreign laws. * Demand Management: ensures the receipt and scheduling of customer orders are correctly managed by working effectively with customers to clarify requirements and negotiate solutions when constraints exist, and has the ability to work effectively with other Eaton functions to assess ability to meet customer needs and to develop work around solutions when necessary. * Effectively manage Materials in the warehouse including Receiving transactions, Picking transactions, and Shipping **Essential Functions \- Job Responsibilities** A. Coordinate the import and export processes in regards to operation such as dealing with carriers, sea freight lines, airfreight lines, freight forwarders and brokers in order to gel materials in a timely manner and ensuring accuracy and compliance to law requirements. B. Look for the optimization on space/volume associated with each shipment in order to get cost reductions and cost avoidance in shipments. C. Keep up records of Premium freights and pursuit the involved areas on minimize Premium Freight to Zero. D. Identify processes of improvement opportunities with carriers, brokers, freight forwarders and suppliers of Logistics services. E. Provide full visibility of the Raw Material and Finished Goods while in transit. F. Monitors channel selection and conducts performance reviews of carriers to support customer and plant requirements G. Ensures Shop Floor processes are followed up. Drives procedure development and improvement including eliminating unnecessary procedures or transactions. \#LI\-DG2 **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Specialized Knowledge \- Qualifications** **Education level required** * Degree qualification in administration, international bussiness or related. **Years of experience required** * Minimum 3 years of indirect purchasing in a manufacturing environment. Automotive preferred **Technical knowledge** * Working Knowledge of MRP / ERP system, Oracle as a plus · Proficiency in Supply chain, Customs law, origen law, Anexo 24, NAFTA, Local custom law, TLC, C\-TPAT **English level** * Ability to communicate in the English language (90%) required. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company.
