Job Description We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and user-focused individual for the UI Designer role at a growth-stage startup. The candidate will be responsible for designing coherent and accessible visual interfaces, creating reusable components and design systems, collaborating closely with Product Managers and engineering teams to ensure intuitive and high-impact user experiences, and contributing to the product’s continuous evolution through research- and metric-driven iterations. **Requirements:** * Degree in Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field—or demonstrable equivalent experience in interface design roles. * Minimum 3 years of experience in digital interface design (web and/or mobile), with a portfolio showcasing final projects and design processes. * Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) and strong practices in design systems. * Solid knowledge of usability principles, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design. * Experience creating reusable components and documenting patterns for product and engineering teams. * Ability to work with technical specifications and collaborate on implementation with frontend developers; basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus. * Capability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research: usability testing, interviews, product metrics analysis, and user feedback. * Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and present proposals to diverse stakeholders. * Autonomy, sense of priority in delivering value, and adaptability to ambiguous and rapidly changing contexts. * Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; gender-neutral approach and respect for pluralism. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design visual interfaces and interaction flows that solve user problems and align with business objectives. * Create and maintain a consistent design system: component library, visual tokens, and usage guidelines. * Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Researchers, and Engineers to define requirements, prioritize improvements, and ensure faithful implementation of designs. * Develop interactive prototypes and conduct usability tests to validate hypotheses and optimize the experience before development. * Document design decisions, specifications, and use cases to facilitate collaboration with developers. * Measure the impact of interface changes using metrics (engagement, conversion, task time) and propose data-driven iterations. * Promote accessibility and performance best practices in designed interfaces. * Mentor junior designers and collaborate on continuously improving the team’s design process. * Participate in product planning and design effort estimation, providing expert judgment and solution alternatives. **Competencies and Skills:** * Product orientation and focus on delivering value to end users through elegant and useful solutions. * Analytical ability to solve complex problems with a practical, evidence-based approach. * Skill in communicating ideas clearly—visually and verbally—to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Proactivity, autonomy, and resilience when facing ambiguity and frequent change. * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively amid multiple competing demands. * Commitment to quality, testing, and continuous improvement of both product and design processes. **Conditions:** * Work mode: hybrid/on-site, as required by internal policy. * Employment type: full-time. * Flexible schedule with occasional availability for key meetings or out-of-hours activities. * Location: main city (to be specified in the specific job offer). * A competitive compensation package and professional development opportunities within the startup will be offered.
