This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and quality in how products are packed, handled, and shipped globally. The ideal candidate combines engineering expertise in Levi Strauss with a strong understanding of logistics systems and continuous improvement methodologies. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and optimize packing systems and workflows within distribution centers to improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput. * Analyze current packaging processes to identify bottlenecks, cost\-saving opportunities, and areas for automation. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including logistics, manufacturing, procurement, and sustainability to align packaging solutions with company goals. * Develop and test packaging materials and configurations to ensure product protection, cost efficiency, and environmental compliance. * Lead or support automation initiatives, including conveyor systems, robotics, and warehouse management systems (WMS). * Utilize data analytics and performance metrics (e.g., packing speed, error rates, material usage) to drive continuous improvement. * Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Support the rollout of new packaging technologies and processes across multiple facilities. * Provide technical training and documentation for operations teams.
