Description
**Job Objective**
Manufacture, assemble, repair, adjust, and maintain dies used in stamping and manufacturing processes, ensuring proper tooling functionality to meet production, quality, and safety requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manufacture, adjust, and repair progressive, simple, and/or transfer dies.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production dies.
* Diagnose mechanical failures and wear in die components.
* Interpret mechanical drawings, technical diagrams, and tolerances.
* Adjust clearances, punches, dies, and other die components.
* Operate conventional and/or CNC machinery such as milling machines, grinders, lathes, and EDM equipment.
* Execute die changes, trials, and validations on the production floor.
* Verify dimensions and specifications using measuring instruments.
* Support design improvements and modifications to optimize die performance and service life.
* Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and modifications performed.
* Provide general support for repair and adjustment of production tooling and fixtures as required.
**Requirements**
* Technical degree in Tooling, Machining, Industrial Mechanics, or related field.
* Experience in die manufacturing and maintenance.
* Knowledge of metal stamping processes.
* Experience in die setup and alignment.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
* Proficiency with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, etc.).
* Knowledge of geometric tolerances and tooling materials.
* Experience operating conventional and/or CNC machinery.
* Experience with manufacturing tooling and fixtures is a plus.

* Experience with high-speed progressive dies.
* Knowledge of TIG or laser welding for component repair.
