A large-scale consortium is seeking personnel for a railway project (Querétaro \- Irapuato Train), for the position of:
**IT TECHNOLOGY ANALYST**
**Position Objective**
Ensure the operational continuity of the organization’s technological infrastructure through administration, support, and maintenance of computing equipment, networks, and technology services; provide timely assistance to internal users; manage vendors; and ensure efficient control of IT assets—thereby contributing to the achievement of the project’s operational and administrative objectives.
**Requirements**
Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in Computer Systems, Computer Science, Information Technologies, Telecommunications, or a related field.
**Experience**
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years in similar positions.
* Experience in Level 1 and Level 2 technical support\.
* Experience in basic network administration and infrastructure support.
* Experience in control and administration of technological assets.
* Preferred experience in construction, infrastructure, or multi-site projects.
**Position Requirements**
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and collaborative tools.
* Experience with Windows operating systems.
* Basic/intermediate knowledge of LAN/WAN networks.
* Configuration of computing equipment and peripherals.
* Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing tools.
* Basic knowledge of information security.
* Desired knowledge of Active Directory, VPN, and IP telephony.
* Desired valid driver’s license.
* Desired basic/intermediate technical English.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:**
**Technical Support and Infrastructure**
* Provide first- and second-level technical support to internal users.
* Diagnose and resolve incidents related to hardware, software, networks, and connectivity.
* Configure computing equipment, printers, mobile devices, and user accounts.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on technological equipment.
* Track tickets and incidents within established response timeframes.
* Assist in basic network, internet, and communications administration.
* Escalate specialized incidents to vendors or third-level support.
**IT Asset Management**
* Maintain and update the inventory of equipment and technological assets.
* Manage equipment assignments, custody, and transfers.
* Monitor warranties, licensing, and operational conditions of assets.
* Generate reports and indicators related to assets and technical support.
**IT Vendor and Procurement Management**
* Request quotations and conduct technical comparisons of equipment and services.
* Coordinate and track technology and telecommunications vendors.
* Assist in procurement of equipment, licenses, and IT consumables.
* Monitor contracted services and vendor service-level performance.
**Security and IT Administration**
* Assist in executing backups and basic information security controls.
* Document procedures, incidents, and technical configurations.
* Ensure compliance with internal IT-related policies.
* Participate in technological improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
