Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive Accounting Manager to optimize financial processes, ensure the integrity of the general ledger, and coordinate monthly closings, reporting directly to the Controller. We are looking for an **Accounting Manager** with analytical skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset to lead the accounting team, ensure the integrity of the general ledger, coordinate monthly closings, and optimize our financial processes. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role is pivotal to internal control, policy compliance, and the company’s operational efficiency. Key Requirements * **Education:** Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Professional degree required). * **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting (GL) and team management. * **Mandatory Experience:** **Solid and primary experience in REVENUE, INTERCOMPANY, and ACCOUNTS PAYABLE is required.** (Accounts Receivable knowledge is desirable.) * **Tools:** **Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Business One (mandatory)** and intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency. * **Languages:** Intermediate English (50%–60%). * **Desirable:** Prior experience with Big 4 firms or reputable accounting firms, as well as foundational knowledge of **US GAAP**. Key Responsibilities * **Revenue and Billing:** Supervise billing (CFDI, credit notes, withholdings, VAT), mitigate revenue errors, reconcile sales vs. system data, and ensure accurate month-end *cut-off* in SAP. * **Intercompany Operations:** Prepare, monitor, and reconcile intercompany transactions (purchases, services, fees, reimbursements) on a monthly basis, reviewing margins, *aging*, and payment/FX application. * **General Accounting and Closing:** Record journal entries, prepare and review financial statements, perform variance analysis (*flux analysis*), and ensure general ledger integrity. * **Controls and Compliance:** Execute key reconciliations, support internal/external audits, ensure compliance with accounting policies, and coordinate with Tax on closings and tax filings. * **Leadership and Continuous Improvement:** Coordinate team activities and priorities during monthly closing, and drive automation of reports and process simplification. * Availability for travel and flexible working hours around closing dates Skills and Competencies * Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities. * Effective communication with operational departments, Tax, and Treasury. * High attention to order, control, and documentation. * Results-oriented mindset and efficient time management under closing deadlines (including willingness to extend working hours on critical closing days).
